Main Street Holiday Kickoff Set for November 18

Daniel Prince

Entertainers, food vendors, and crafters needed

Union’s Main Street Merchants are in the process of planning Union’s annual Main Street holiday kickoff. It will be called “Hometown Holidays on Historic Main Street” this year. It will be held from 5-8 p.m. on Thursday, November 18. The merchants are looking for local singers, musicians, barbershop quartets, and small and large musical groups, including school and church groups to sign up to be part of the entertainment throughout the event. Local crafters, artists, groups, churches, and individuals are urged to reserve a space to sell crafts, foods, and seasonal items. Food vendors should reserve their space as soon as possible.

Email Libby Oliver at or Rebecca Rochester at to register for the entertainment program or to reserve a table space or vendor space. The last day to sign up will be Friday, November 12 at 5 p.m.
