$51.2 million investment is part of Bipartisan Infrastructure Law's Bridge Investment Program
The US Department of Transportation’s Federal Highway Administration announced nearly $300 million for small and medium-sized bridge projects in rural and urban areas of eight states and Washington, D.C. Included in that is $51.2 million in South Carolina to replace six bridges in Union County. FHA Administrator Shailen Bhatt talked about where the money came from:

Construction on the bridges will begin as soon as this year. The completion dates have not yet been announced. WBCU will follow up on these projects and bring you more information as it becomes available.
