Man took $42 worth of merchandise from Walmart

A Union man was caught and arrested Monday for shoplifting after leaving the store in his company’s vehicle. 36-year-old Jamie Ray Shrader is accused of taking $42 worth of merchandise from Walmart without paying for it. The items taken included an FM transmitter, a car charger, and a phone charging cable. He then picked up some utility hooks, which he paid for, but he took the other items outside the store without paying. He got into a white Chevy van with signs on the doors that said Upstate Medical Supply. The license plate was visible in the camera footage, as well. After checking with the company, they confirmed that the driver was Shrader, and that he was the only person driving the van for the company on Monday.
