Three subjects took part in the incident
A Union man has been charged with attempted murder in a shooting incident that occurred last Tuesday. According to arrest warrants, 30-year-old Edwin Sentrell Kershaw was one of three people who shot another man in the shoulder with a pistol at the man’s McClure Street residence. The warrants state the three subjects unlawfully entered the man’s residence intending to take anything of value from the occupants of the residence by force. Kershaw was arrested Sunday and is charged with attempted murder, possession of a weapon during a violent crime, attempted armed robbery, and first-degree burglary. Bond on Kershaw was denied.
As reported Friday, Danny Ray Davis, who was charged with unlawful conduct toward a child in a shooting incident that wounded a two-year-old last year, also faces charges of attempted murder, possession of a weapon during a violent crime, attempted armed robbery, and first-degree burglary. It is believed that he is one of the other two individuals connected to this case, but the Union Public Safety Department has not yet confirmed that.
