Sinclair faces ten new charges, as well
A Union County man wanted on 16 General Sessions bench warrants was arrested last week. On Thursday, September 22, investigators and narcotics officers went to a trailer on the Whitmire Highway where they were told 45-year-old Patrick Neil Sinclair was hiding. He was found inside and taken into custody. The homeowner gave consent to search the home after Sinclair’s arrest, and officers found methamphetamine and credit cards that did not belong to Sinclair. The evidence was seized, and the investigation is ongoing.
Five of the warrants were for financial transaction card theft. Three were for threatening the life of a public employee. Two were for financial transaction card fraud. Two were for burglary—one second degree, one third degree. One was for meth possession. One was for resisting arrest. One was for theft of electricity, and one was for forgery. New charges on Sinclair include 7 counts of financial transaction card fraud, one count of financial transaction card theft, one count of forgery, and one count of trafficking cocaine base. Bond on the new charges totaled $52,000. Sinclair remains in the Union County Detention Center.
