Chief justice of SC Supreme Court signs order ending mandate on March 1

Union County Clerk of Court Melanie Lawson passed this along to WBCU News. Last Thursday, the chief justice of the SC Supreme Court signed an order lifting the mask mandate for courthouses starting next Tuesday, March 1, and making wearing masks optional for the individual. They will continue to check temperatures at the courthouse entrance and maintain social distancing.
