Uniquely Union will open up tomorrow from 4-10 p.m. and Saturday from 10-10 on Main Street in downtown Union. One highlight of the event will be the Miss Uniquely Union Pageant, which will be featured on the main stage Saturday morning from 10-noon. Around 35 contestants have signed up for the pageant. Jack Roper will be on hand to do a magic show during a brief intermission in the pageant at 11:30.
Jami Trammell said quite a few downtown merchants are getting involved with the festival, along with a ton of food and merchandise vendors:

As a reminder, Main Street will close at noon Friday from Mountain Street to Enterprise Street. North Herndon Street to Sharpe Avenue will also close at the same time. The streets will reopen to normal traffic Saturday night after the festival at around midnight.
