Tune in to WBCU for the latest weather-related closings and delays
Today is the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. holiday. Schools, government offices, banks, and post offices are all closed today. This helps the road situation, as not as many are headed to work today.
In addition to those closed due to the holiday, the Union County Family YMCA will be closed today. All Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System outpatient services, including the Gibbs Cancer Center, will be closed today due to inclement weather. All Medical Group of the Carolinas practices are also closed. Spartanburg Regional’s Immediate Care Centers will open at noon. Lowcountry Urgent Care will open on a two-hour delay at 10 a.m. Paradise Home Center also plans a delayed opening at 10.
