Monarch Students Report Reading More Than 45,000 Hours Over the Summer

Monarch Elementary School challenged its students to keep reading over the summer. The students responded, with the school reporting that its students read for a total of 45,693 hours over the summer. Those who participated in the MES Summer Reading Challenge were treated to an ice cream sundae party and extra recess on Thursday, August 25.
