She said she had nothing of value in the vehicle and did not believe anything had been taken.
A woman on Douglas Heights said someone went inside her vehicle between midnight and 7:50 a.m. Monday. She said she believed her boyfriend locked the vehicle. She said she didn’t know if anything else was missing.
A woman on Cherokee Avenue reported she parked her car around 5 p.m. Saturday, and between then and 7:30 a.m. Monday she found her glove box and center console had been gone through and the contents scattered. She said her pocketbook was missing from the vehicle. It contained several credit and debit cards as well as some of her identity documents. She described the bag as a brown Michael Kors backpack. A neighbor walked over while the officer was there and told him that a suspicious car was seen in the area around midnight Monday morning. The neighbor said it was a silver or tan Ford Taurus. He also told the officer that a juvenile, who he identified, was seen walking in the area with a backpack on during that same time. The cases have been sent to investigations.
