Patriot Express Motorcycle Ride Coming to Union

Tomorrow, a large group of motorcycles will be riding from Cowpens to Union to Greer to Boiling Springs for a great cause. The Patriot Express Foundation is holding its annual benefit ride Saturday.

Registration starts at 9 a.m. at C&C Thunder on South Main Street in Cowpens. The first bike will be out at 10 a.m. and the last by 11 with its first card in hand and head to Shady’s in Union to get another card. From there, the ride goes to Pour Sports on Trade Street in Greer and The Valley Tavern on Valley Falls Road in Boiling Springs before ending at Wings Etc. on Boiling Springs Road in Boiling Springs.

The bikes will all be back in by 3 p.m. Best hand wins $200 and worst hand wins $100. Raffle drawings will be held at 5 p.m. They will have live music, as well. Cost to enter is $20 for driver, $10 for passenger, and $10 for an extra hand.

Those taking part in the ride will meet Patriot Express Founder Dave Barr. Barr appeared on the morning show earlier this week to talk about the origins of the Patriot Express Foundation:
