Russell wins with over 2/3 of the vote
2022 marks a season of change in Union County politics, as seven new candidates were elected to various posts throughout the county. Phillip Russell will be the new Union County Supervisor, winning election over Timika Wilson with 68.55% of the vote. Russell received 5931 votes to 2721 for Wilson. After his victory, Russell spoke to WBCU News, saying he is ready to get to work:
