Public Safety Department Searching for Armed Robbery Suspect

Victim was lured from Greenville to sell items

The Union Public Safety Department sent out a release Thursday evening that they were searching for an armed robbery suspect. They said officers responded to Culbreath Heights for an armed robbery at around 5:30 p.m. Thursday. The victim was lured from Greenville to sell items to the suspect. The suspect pulled a handgun on the victim and took the items. The suspect then fled the scene on foot, and at the time of the release last evening was still at large. The Public Safety Department said it is an ongoing investigation, but it appears to be an isolated incident.
