Man went into apartment on Lipsey Street after getting shot
The Union Public Safety Department is investigating a shooting incident that happened in the early morning hours on Thursday. Sgt. David Lee was dispatched to an apartment on Lipsey Street for a shooting. Lee found a 33-year-old man laying on the floor inside the apartment. The man was bleeding and yelling in pain. While EMS personnel treated the man, Sgt. Lee contacted Investigator Gregory to respond to the scene. Lee then spoke with the owner of the apartment, who stated she was inside her apartment with other people when the shooting took place. She said her front door opened and the victim came inside her apartment. She said she did not see who shot the man. Details on the man’s injuries and condition were not released. The case has been turned over to investigations.
