Refurbished McCormick's Greenhouse, New HOPES Garden Opens to the Public

Flowers, tomatoes, and much more available for sale

On Friday, the Union County Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting for the newly refurbished McCormick’s Greenhouse and HOPES Garden. It is located behind Union Services, Inc., at 737 Industrial Park Road. HOPES Garden is a collaborative project of Union County Disabilities and Special Needs Board, Union Services, and Sanders Garden Center Gardeners Forum.

WBCU News spoke with Grady Evans, executive director of the Union County Disabilities and Special Needs Board, who said the event is so much more than just the plant and flower seeds that have been grown:

Sammy Willis is the supervisor of the greenhouse. Flowers, tomatoes, and other plants are available for sale at the garden and greenhouse. Stop by from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday at 737 Industrial Park Road.
