Proceeds will benefit USC Union athletics
Registration for a 5K of a different kind is going on now here at WBCU. We are accepting registrations for our Music and Bantams 5K race, which is scheduled for Saturday, May 6 at Foster Park. Check-in and late registration will take place at 8 a.m., and the race will begin at 8:30. As in the past, the course will take place in and around the park and surrounding areas, and we will again have a couple of dance stations set up to give runners a small break and a chance to show off their moves. Those who participate will have the time deducted from their final total. There will be trophies awarded for age category winners, and door prize drawings will take place thanks to our great sponsors.
Those who register by April 17 can do so for $20, and they will receive the official WBCU Music & Bantams 5K t-shirt, designed and printed by Hometown Ink. After April 17, the registration fee goes to $30, and a t-shirt is no longer guaranteed. All proceeds from the event will benefit the USC Union Bantams Athletics program.
