Rep. Ralph Norman Announces Internship Openings in Washington

Daniel Prince

Those interested should send resume and cover letter by email

Representative Ralph Norman has openings for internships for college students in his office in Washington, D.C. Internships run throughout the fall, spring, or summer semesters. They are unpaid but allow students to gain invaluable work experience. The hours are flexible to accommodate students’ course schedules, but they generally run from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. when Congress is in session, and from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. when not in session. Responsibilities may include answering phones, running errands, researching legislation for the member and legislative staff, attending hearings and briefings, and answering constituent letters on various issues before the House. Interns thus learn about the legislative process and the many other functions of a congressional office. Those interested should send their resumé and cover letter to RepRalph.Norman@mail.house.gov.

Norman says if you need assistance with any branch of the federal government, his congressional office in Rock Hill can help. Whether it’s the IRS, Social Security, immigration, passports, veterans’ affairs, or anything else related to the federal government, call the Rock Hill office at 803-327-1114. If you have questions about legislation or Norman’s votes in Congress, the D.C. office can answer those. Call 202-225-5501. You can also email him at RepRalph.Norman@mail.house.gov.
