Republican Hopefuls Gather at Fairgrounds for Event

A crowd gathered at Union County Stadium Saturday afternoon to hear from a number of Republican Party hopefuls who are on the ballot in November. Those included many of the statewide candidates, a Congressional candidate, and several local candidates. The crowd heard from Danny Bright, who is running for Union County Council District 1 against incumbent Tracie Farr Campbell. Bright talked about a couple of his priorities if elected:
