Danny Bright and Annie Smith defeated their Democratic opponents
Just 10 years after Freddie Gault became the first Republican elected to a countywide office when he was voted in as Clerk of Court in 2012, Republicans swept the races for Union County Supervisor and Union County Council on Tuesday. Danny Bright defeated Tracie Farr Campbell for the County Council District 1 seat. After the results were announced, Bright first gave thanks to God, and then for his wife Amy. He continued his appreciation as he spoke with WBCU News:
