Robert Hope to be Recommended to Fill Part-Time Magistrate Position

Kevin Morrow is leaving that position to take on full-time magistrate role

Although there is still a process to go through, Senator Shane Martin told WBCU News that the part-time magistrate’s position being vacated by Kevin Morrow in order for him to take Jimmy Crocker’s full-time magistrate’s position is closer to being filled. Morrow took over that position this week after Crocker retired as of May 27. Martin said the senators offered the part-time position to Robert Hope. He has passed his test, and the senators have sent a letter to the governor asking for Hope’s appointment. If approved, Hope could begin that role as early as July.
