Website, app makes it easier for purchasing licenses, permits, and tags
Hunting, fishing, and boating is going increasingly high tech in South Carolina with the launch of Go Outdoors South Carolina, the new licensing and boat titling system of the SC Department of Natural Resources. The new system will make it easier for people to view and purchase hunting and fishing licenses, permits, and tags; apply for lottery hunts; register and renew watercraft; report turkey harvest through SC Game Check; upgrade to a licensing hard card; and purchase SCDNR gear or make a donation through the Go Outdoors SC Shop. You can access the new site at gooutdoorssouthcarolina.com. A companion app has been released with the new site. The GoOutdoorsSC app contains many of the same resources as the website, along with online resources such as regulations, harvest data, and the new SC Public Fishing Access platform, all accessible on your Android or iPhone. Turkey hunters are reminded to delete the previous app and download the GoOutdoorsSC app to report your harvest, as the app used last year is no longer functional.
