SC students averaged 25 points higher in reading/writing and 13 points higher in math
South Carolina 10th and 11th graders scored above the national average on the PSAT in several categories, including 10th grade evidence-based reading and writing, with a 459 average. 11th graders taking the PSAT scored above the national average in all areas, with a total score of 1019, compared to the national average of 982. They averaged 25 points higher in reading and writing and 13 points higher in math.
Data on school report cards is expected to be released today, and WBCU News will report on that in future newscasts.
