Teachers and staff will be honored at banquet in May
Schools are officially out on Christmas break. The last day of school before break traditionally is the time that schools announce their teachers of the year and support staff members of the year. Teachers of the year are Heeley Wyatt from Buffalo Elementary, Tiffany Clayton from Foster Park Elementary, Cassie Bogan from Jonesville Elementary-Middle School, Latrisha Tucker from Monarch Elementary, Brooke Anderson from Sims Middle School, Jon Langenfeld from Union County High School, and Heather Gregory from the Union County Career and Technology Center.
Support staff of the year are Alvin Jeter from Buffalo, Cathy Wood from Foster Park, Catherine Poulos from Jonesville, Jennifer Gibson from Monarch, Tiffany Iovane from Sims, and Jennifer Calhoun from Union County High.
In addition, Sims Middle School honored Andrew Kingsmore as its First Year Teacher of the Year. The CATE Center honored Theron Robinson as its First Year Teacher of the Year.
