Second Harvest Food Bank to Hold Food Distribution at Stadium

Daniel Prince

Those attending will receive meal box and produce box

Second Harvest Food Bank of Metrolina is sponsoring a free food distribution in Union County. The event will be held this Friday, September 24, from 10 a.m. until noon. The distribution was originally announced for the fairgrounds, but it has been moved to Union County Stadium, instead. There is no paperwork to fill out. As it is a drive-thru event, there is no need to get out of your vehicle. Food will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis. Those attending will receive one meal box and one produce box.

Second Harvest Food Bank of Metrolina is in the middle of celebrating their 40th birthday with 40 volunteer projects in 40 days, as well as 40 fund or food drives.
