Senior Day, Church Night Highlight Day Two of the Fair

Racing pigs, K9s in Flight among ground shows this year

The Union County Fair rolls into day 2 today. Wednesday is Senior Day and Church Night. Senior Day runs from 11:30-2 today. Fair Executive Director Paul Winters tells us more:

Gates and rides will be open today from 4-10 p.m. The 4-H Pullet and Rabbit Project Show will start at 6 p.m. Rosaire’s Racing Pigs will have shows at 5:30, 7:30, and 9:30; Lew-E the Clown will perform at 6:30 and 8:30; K9s in Flight has shows at 7 and 9; and a chainsaw carver will begin carving at 4 p.m.

As a reminder, a clear bag policy is in place for the fair this year. Clear plastic, vinyl, or PVC bags cannot exceed 12” x 6” x 12”. A gallon Zip-loc bag is permitted, and small clutch bags no larger than 4.5” x 6.5” are permitted. Clutch bags will be subject to search. Backpacks, briefcases, fanny packs, computer bags, diaper bags, and the like are not permitted. The full policy is on the fair’s website at itsmyfair.com.
