Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System is holding another career fair today from 3-6 p.m. at the Dr. T.K. Gregg Community Center on Howard Street in Spartanburg. They are looking to hire licensed practical nurses, CT scan technologists, MRI technologists, radiology techs, nuclear medicine techs, sonographers, respiratory therapists, physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech language pathologists, athletic trainers, EMTs & paramedics, environmental services personnel, and food services personnel. On-the-spot interviews are being offered, and same-day contingent offers will be made.
Michelin is hosting a hiring event at the Spartanburg Community College – Downtown Campus, located at 220 E. Kennedy St. in Spartanburg. That event is scheduled for Friday, October 7, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Michelin is hiring production operators for their Spartanburg location. Entry-level production wages start at $21.34 an hour plus a $2/hour rotation shift premium, along with a potential $1500 sign-on bonus. Rochling Automotive has a hiring event for production associates scheduled next week. The hiring event will be held Tuesday, October 11, from 1-4 p.m. at the SCC Tyger River campus at 1875 East Main Street in Duncan. Production associates are needed for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts. Pay is $15.50 an hour plus shift premium. A high school diploma or GED is required. Benefits will be offered at day one.
