Victim suffered non-life-threatening injuries

Captain Scott Coffer with the Union County Sheriff’s Office reported that there was a shooting on Monday off Highway 49. The sheriff’s office is investigating the incident and will release more details later. Coffer said the victim was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
