Sims Says Smoky Smell in Restroom Did Not Result in an Incident

Fire crews were initially dispatched to the school but were called back

Sims Middle School reported on their Facebook page that a smoky smell in the girls’ restroom did not result in an incident Wednesday morning, and the students were safe. Scanner traffic had indicated that fire departments had been called to the school for a fire in the bathroom, but they were apparently called off before arriving.
