Spartanburg Man Dies From Injuries He Received in Wreck

Wreck happened on July 3 in Moore; Gregory was a Union High School graduate

A Spartanburg man and former Union County High School graduate passed away from injuries he received in a car wreck on July 3 on Hwy. 221 in Moore. 37-year-old Nicholas Sprouse Gregory died at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center Friday morning at 6:30 a.m. The SC Highway Patrol has not released any information regarding the crash. Gregory graduated from Union County High in 2002 and graduated from Clemson in 2006 with a degree in financial management. He leaves behind his parents, Joey and Sara Beth Gregory, his infant daughter, Ellie Mason Gregory, and her mother, Monica Beushausen, along with many other family members. A celebration of life service is scheduled for Wednesday at 3 p.m. at New Life Baptist Church in Union, with visitation beforehand from 1:30-3 p.m. Those attending are asked to wear Clemson attire in his honor.
