Hospital system offering tuition-free CNA course
Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System will be holding a hiring event at the SCC Union County Campus on Thursday, June 8, from 3-6 p.m. Hiring leaders from Union Medical Center, UMC Center for Pediatrics, UMC Center for Family Medicine, and Ellen Sagar Nursing Center will be at the event. Walk in with your resumé to interview on the spot. They are hiring registered nurses, Baylor RNs, graduate nurses, and patient care associates. They also need CT scan technologists, nuclear medicine, and sonographers. In laboratory services, they are looking to hire MLTs and MTs and phlebotomists. Ellen Sagar is looking to hire an RN supervisor and certified nursing assistants, speech language pathologists, an activities assistant, and cosmetologist or beautician.
If you are interested in becoming a certified nursing assistant, you are invited to come out and meet the hiring leaders at this event and then register for SRHS’s tuition-free 8-week CNA course. The healthcare system will cover the cost of tuition, books, one uniform, and the application and exam fee for the SC Board Registry. Once you complete the course and pass the exam, you will become a valued member of the patient care team at Ellen Sagar Nursing Center and earn a $5000 sign-on bonus.
