Starbucks Coming to Union

No official word from the company when it will be built or open

Union is slated to get a Starbucks. While the company has not officially announced, both Jami Trammell with the Union County Development Board and City Administrator Joe Nichols have confirmed the news in recent months. Work has begun on the site, which will be located in the parking lot of the TBA Construction shopping center across from the stadium and near Arthur State Bank. County Council voted in their June meeting to release their parking easement agreement with the TBA property to make way for the project. We’ll have more details as they become available.
