Bonus rewards are offered for O-Positive donors

The Blood Connection has put out a plea for O-positive blood. They say they are critically low on that blood type, potentially putting patient lives at risk. To encourage more donations, donors with O-positive blood can receive a bonus $25 eGift card with their donation today through Sunday, July 24, at TBC centers and bloodmobiles. Unfortunately, the bloodmobile is not scheduled to come back to Union until August 6 from 1-6 p.m. at Walmart, but those wishing to donate can head to the donor center and Spartanburg to give.
