Third Person Arrested in Connection With August Burglary of West South Street Residence

Daniel Prince

Man charged with first-degree burglary and petit larceny

A third person has been arrested in connection with a burglary of a residence on West South Street. The incident occurred in the early morning hours of August 6th. The residents informed officers that around 4 a.m., their dogs began barking and going crazy. They assumed it was a deer or something in the yard and did not think much about it. The next morning, they discovered that the man’s wallet and cell phone were missing from the desk by the back door. He stated he must have forgotten to lock the back door before going to bed. They noted that the gate to their fence in the back yard was wide open, when it is normally closed. Nothing else was reported as missing.

22-year-old Ya’Sin Amari Razil Richardson was arrested Monday and charged with 1st-degree burglary and petit larceny of less than $2000. Previously charged in the case are 34-year-old Amanda Gail Reyes, who is charged with first-degree burglary, and 28-year-old Ashley Marie Davis, who is charged with financial transaction card theft and financial transaction card fraud.
