Third Spring Cleaning Event Planned Today

Cleanup will occur on Highway 176 and Whitmire Highway

Today is the day of the third Union County spring cleaning event. This morning from 8-noon, county employees and volunteers from the community will be cleaning up in the Highway 176 and Whitmire Highway area. The rally point will be the top parking lot at 1262 South Duncan Bypass, the former Union Chrysler building, to get supplies and instructions. They will be accepting household trash, bulk items, electronic waste, and tires. Safety materials will be provided.
