Chartwell's, Michelin, and Cherokee Medical Center all hiring
Several recruitment events are coming to the region this week, including one that is happening today. Chartwell’s is looking to hire food service workers and cashiers, both full-time and part-time. They say no nights, holidays, or weekends are required. The hiring event will take place today from 12-3 at SC Works Spartanburg, at 145 North Church Street Suite 110.
Michelin will hold their next career fair on Wednesday, March 22, from 8-4 at Spartanburg Community College Tyger River Campus, located at 1875 East Main Street in Duncan. They are looking for manufacturing professionals with production skills for their Spartanburg facility. Starting pay is $21.34 an hour, plus a $2/hour rotation shift premium and a potential $1500 sign-on bonus. The job includes paid vacation and holidays. Benefits from the first day include health, dental, vision, and life insurance, company matching 401(k), and an on-site health clinic and gym, both designated for employees and their dependents. Forbes magazine in 2021 listed Michelin as America’s Best-in-State Employer. Their goal is to fill at least 40% of any open salaried positions by promoting employees from its wage workforce. Interviews will be conducted on a first-come, first-served basis. Prior to the event, apply for the Spartanburg SC Production Operator position at jobs.michelinman.com.
Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System will hold a walk-in hiring event at Cherokee Medical Center-Peachview/ICC at 722 Hyatt Street, Suite C, in Gaffney. It will be held on Wednesday, March 22, from 1-4 p.m. They are looking to hire medical assistants and licensed practical nurses. Bring your resumé for on-the-spot interviews and same-day contingent offers. Once hired, they offer lifetime tuition benefits and continuing education discounts, medical, dental, vision, and prescription drug plans, plenty of paid time off, flexible spending accounts for dependent care and medical, and 401(k) and matching.
