Carlisle, Lockhart, and Union County Councils set to meet
Three meetings are scheduled for today. The Carlisle Town Council will meet tonight at 6 p.m. at the Carlisle Town Hall for its regular monthly meeting. Lockhart Town Council will meet this evening at 7 p.m. at the Lockhart Town Hall.
Union County Council will have the second of three budget workshops today starting at 5:30 p.m. in the Grand Jury Room at the Union County Courthouse. The council will hear budget requests from outside agencies, including the Union County Chamber of Commerce, Soil and Water Conservation District, Clemson Extension and 4-H, Union County Council on Aging, C-4 Services, Union County Library System, Miracle League of Union County, NAACP, Capital Consulting, USC Union, Union County Historical Society, Preservation South Carolina-Dawkins House, and Union County Fire and Rescue. The public is invited to attend these meetings.
