Clerk of Court Melanie Lawson administers the oath of office

Friday morning at the Union County Courthouse, Clerk of Court Melanie Lawson swore in Toni Horne Allen as Union County’s Probate Judge. Allen, who was officially appointed to the position by Governor Henry McMaster last Tuesday, fills the unexpired term of William All, III, who resigned as of September 3 to go into private law practice.
