A Union family is okay after a tree fell on their house early Sunday morning. According to Roger Bailey, information officer with the Southside Fire District, the fire department was called to the scene at 12:05 a.m. There was no fire, but firefighters did call the City of Union Utility Department to the scene for repairs. Firefighters remained on the scene for around an hour. No injuries were reported. Bailey said the family of Bailey Smith lived in the house. There is no word on how much damage the tree caused.
