Two Face Drug Charges in Separate Incidents

Romeo Tyrek Thompson and Albert Clayton Morris III charged

Two people have been charged by the Union County Sheriff’s Office in separate drug cases.

24-year-old Romeo Tyrek Thompson was charged with distribution of a Schedule I narcotic. The warrant states that between August 27, 2020, and September 4, 2020, Thompson distributed a quantity of fake roxy pills to an undercover operative of the Union County Sheriff’s Office Drug Task Force in exchange for recorded government funds. The warrant was signed last September but was delivered last Thursday.

In a separate incident, 42-year-old Albert Clayton Morris III was charged with possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine. The warrant states that on April 13, Morris had a quantity of meth in his possession with intent to distribute it while at his residence on Osborne Street. The warrant was signed in late September and delivered to Morris on Thursday.
