Two More County Schools Go Virtual Due to COVID

Daniel Prince

Buffalo and Jonesville Elementary, Union County High School the only schools in-person right now

Two more schools have announced e-learning days due to COVID. Foster Park Elementary School and Monarch Elementary School will be using the virtual learning platform today and next Tuesday, with the goal of returning to in-person learning next Wednesday. Drive through breakfast and lunch pickup are available at those schools from 11-noon today and Tuesday. Lunch pickup is available at Sims and Jonesville from 11:30-12:30.

Buffalo Elementary School, Jonesville’s elementary grades, and Union County High School remain in-person right now. Sims and Jonesville’s middle school grades will return to in-person learning on Tuesday. Friday is a scheduled teacher workday, and Monday is the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. holiday, so there is no school for students either of those days.
