UCHS Teacher Nominated as FSI Office Teacher of the Week

Daniel Prince

Another Union County teacher has been nominated for FSI Office’s Teacher of the Week promotion. Andy Breitenbach of Union County High School is up against nine other teachers from across South Carolina and North Carolina for the honor. If Breitenbach is the weekly winner, he will receive $600 worth of school supplies for his class on top of what he has already received. Weekly winners also receive two tickets to the Carolina Panthers’ game on November 7 to compete for the Teacher of the Year award with $5000 and more in prizes.

The nomination online states, “Mr. Andy B is an amazing teacher. He is kind, compassionate, he meets kids where they are and encourages kids to meet their goals and strive beyond their individual goals. He uses lots of games, hands on, and science activities to really involve all kids. He has great, calm control of his students and is so nice to all. My autistic son has adjusted so well to high school because of teacher Andy Breitenbach.”

To vote for Breitenbach, go to www.fsioffice.com/tow and click on the link that says, “Click here to vote for the Teacher of the Week”. You can vote from multiple devices, but only once per device. Voting runs through October 13th. Breitenbach is the second teacher from Union County to make FSI’s weekly top 10. Melissa Justice from Foster Park Elementary was a top 10 nominee during the first week of the contest.
