Union and Spartanburg Featured in Event by SC Small Business Administration

Daniel Prince

Virtual event scheduled today from noon-1:30 p.m.

The South Carolina District Office launched a 46 Counties in 46 Days initiative last month to increase awareness of the resources available to small businesses across the state, with a particular focus on rural areas. Originally, there was to be an event for Union County on March 31st, but instead, they changed it to combine Union and Spartanburg Counties. The event will be held today from noon-1:30. The virtual small business event will include resources on business start-up, lending, contracting, and disaster preparedness. To take part in the online event, register at Eventbrite.com. Search for 46 Counties and click on the event for Spartanburg and Union counties. Click on the link provided on the page to access the event, which will be held on Microsoft Teams. If you don’t already have Teams, they have an option to either download the program or to launch the program from your internet browser, with no download needed. The event is being presented as a partnership with the Small Business Administration SC District Office, SC Department of Commerce, SC Department of Transportation, SC Department of Agriculture, Small Business Development Center—Winthrop Region, Women’s Business Center—Community Works, and the SC Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.
