Advance tickets for gate admission and all rides will be $20

We are less than a month away from the opening of the 2021 Union County Fair. The fair was cancelled last year due to COVID concerns and restrictions, but Fair Director Paul Winters says it’s ready, set, go for this year:

Popular features like Church Night at the Fair will be back this year, with The Old Paths as the featured group. Senior Day will take place Wednesday around noon, with details to be announced later on that. School Day will be on Thursday, as in years past. The Miss Union County Fair Pageant will be back on the main stage on Friday night. Saturday will be Heroes Day, where health care workers, first responders, law enforcement, and fire and EMS personnel can get into the fair for free by showing their employee ID. The car giveaway will take place on Saturday night.

As for admission and rides, Winters said the $20 Mega Pass advance ticket will be the best deal this year. That advance pass will be $20 and will be available until the Monday before the fair opens. Ticket locations will be announced in the next week. This year’s dates of the Union County Agricultural Fair will be October 19-23.
