Union County Fair is Back After Being Shut Down Last Year

Gates open from 4-10 today

With beautiful fall weather in the forecast, the Union County Agricultural Fair will open its gates for the first time in two years this afternoon. Union County Fair Executive Director Paul Winters reminds us of what will be going on:

The livestock shows are an annual attraction. Today at 6 will be the beef show. The pullet show will be Wednesday at 4. The rabbit show will be Wednesday at 6:30. The dairy show is set for Thursday at 6. The lamb show is Friday at 5, with the goat show to follow Friday at 6. The Union Express Band will be entertaining on the main fair stage. Today is Two-Buck Tuesday, where you can get into the gate for just $2 with a canned food donation. All rides will be $2 each, as well. Gates will be open from 4-10. Regular gate admission is $8 for ages 13-62, $6 for ages 2-12 and seniors ages 62 and older, and toddlers under the age of two get in free.
