$1000 scholarship offered to adult in the workforce or raising a family to go back to school
The Union County Family and Community Leaders are offering a $1000 scholarship for an adult Union County resident who has been or is in the workplace and is raising a family. This scholarship is also open to a senior from Union County High School or Union Christian Day School. The scholarship is intended to honor and assist students in attaining higher education in a certified technical school, college, or university. This scholarship does not apply to online students. A scholarship application can be picked up at the Clemson Extension Office at 120 Kirby Street during regular business hours. The application deadline is June 2.
