They seized approximately 582 doses of other pills and narcotics. The total street value of all drugs seized in 2022 by the task force adds up to $436,640. They also note that they have seized numerous firearms, vehicles, cash, and other property, as well. More than 200 arrests have been made and 494 drug charges have ben filed by the group. Eight people have been indicted in federal court, and the federal investigation is still ongoing.

They note that none of this is possible without the cooperation within the county and with surrounding jurisdictions. They say they look forward to working with the US Attorney’s Office and the solicitor’s office to ensure the defendants are fully held accountable. They say they will continue to use similar methods and cooperation to fight the drug plague affecting Union and the entire state.
