Library will close Thursday for Veterans Day
The Union County Library System has fall programs scheduled today, Tuesday, and Wednesday of this week. Today at 4 p.m. will be the virtual Mindful Monday session, titled Understanding Mental Health with Judy Rauppius with the National Alliance on Mental Health.
Tuesday’s in-person story time will have a sports theme. Ms. Raven will lead story time starting at 10 a.m. at the library for ages birth to 4. Craft pick-up is scheduled at the library from 4-6 p.m. Tuesday. The craft theme is pumpkin patch. You can pick up the free craft bags downstairs in the children/teen area. They will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. If you can’t pick up the craft bag Tuesday, call the library to make other arrangements.
Wednesday’s virtual Toddler Time with Ms. Jennifer will deal with leaf rubbing. The virtual events will be posted on the library’s Facebook page and YouTube channel for viewing any time.
The library will be closed Thursday in observance of Veterans Day. It will reopen on Friday at 9 a.m.
