Tibi Czentye tells his story of escaping Communist Romania and his time and lessons learned in the US

The Union County Republican Women held their second annual patriotic celebration Tuesday night at Main Street Junction. Those attending were treated to a steak dinner catered by Midway BBQ. The featured speaker was Tibi Czentye, who escaped from Communist Romania in 1989 and with his family was granted political asylum in the US in 1991. He and his family became citizens in 1998.
