Recipients to receive gift card, entered to win prizes
The Union Housing Authority will be hosting a COVID vaccination clinic on Friday. DHEC will be on hand at the Union Housing Authority’s Community Room at 201 Porter Street on Friday from 11-2. They will be offering the Pfizer vaccine, which is available to recipients ages 12 and older. That particular vaccine recently gained full FDA approval for ages 16 and over. It is still operating under the FDA’s emergency use authorization for ages 12-15.
The vaccine is free, so insurance is not required, and you don’t need to show an ID or paperwork to prove your age, job, or medical condition. Vaccine recipients will receive a gift card while supplies last and will be entered to win prizes.
