Victim was reportedly his daughter
Last December, Major Scott Coffer was contacted by Investigator Margaret Acuna with the Elgin Police Department in Elgin, Texas. Acuna told Coffer a juvenile female in their jurisdiction had reported a sexual assault that occurred in Union County. The juvenile was reported to be 12 years old.
According to the arrest warrant, 49-year-old Timothy Daniel Wise was charged with 3rd-degree criminal sexual conduct with a minor. The warrant states he sexually assaulted his 13-year-old daughter while at his residence on East Main Street in Union. The warrant was signed based on police investigation and victim statements. The incident is stated to have occurred on or about August 1, 2020. The warrant was signed on February 22 and was finally delivered to Wise on October 1.
